The Monuments by Moonlight trolley tour turns an evening in Washington, DC into something unforgettable. As the sun sets, the city’s iconic memorials and monuments take on a dramatic glow, creating stunning backdrops for photos and quiet moments of reflection. Over about two and a half hours you’ll ride in a comfortable, open-air trolley past the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, FDR Memorial, Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial, the White House and more, all beautifully illuminated against the night sky. Knowledgeable local guides share engaging stories and historical insights, making this more than just a sightseeing trip but a richer way to experience the history and heart of the nation’s capital.
